I have been in the IT field in some shape or form since 1998 when I started working on home computers as a hobby while I wasn’t in school (yes, high school). Once I graduated in 2002 I started working towards a degree at a local community college and started making the hobby a little more serious. In late 2003 I was hired by my Alma Mater as one of three onsite technicians. By this time I was N+ certified and had extensive training in many of the MCSE/MCSA tests and had studied for the CCNA and A+ test but just never paid for the cert.
On February 29, 2008 I married my wonderful wife. Now married, working towards a Bachelors at a new college, and still working for the same high school I decided to make my ‘hobby’ an LLC and spend even more time traveling around working on computers. Remy Services, LLC was reborn, specializing in onsite computer repairs, malware removal and hardware support.
I have changed how I blog to a more formal and informational blog style so that I might be able to help people who run into similar issues. Dealing with students who often try to break computers and helping new customers every day with my side business I feel that there are many issue I run into that can be beneficial to others.
As with many IT professionals I sometimes wonder if my knowledge is relevant or even correct so please feel free to critique my work, I feel that correct information is more important than pride. I have seen thousands of hits to my blogs about SysPrep and appreciate all the comments and hope with that many people reading I might be of help to a portion of you.
